CREATE. ADVOCATE. AGITATE. MAKE CHANGE.
Teens, your voice needs to be heard! Join us for a two-part program designed for youth, ages 13 – 18, to discuss various topics and become change agents in your communities.
Weeks 1 -3: See It. Discuss It.
One day a week, teens will come together virtually to watch and discuss films based on social justice, mental health, and the school system.
Weeks 4 – 6: Act On It.
Now that you have seen and discussed the issues, it is time to act! You and your teammates will collaborate to create a project that will improve an issue in your community. You will develop your project and pitch it to The Konnected Foundation Inc Team Members who will fund your project.
Teens who attend all sessions and actively participate in the discussions and project development and implementation will have a chance to receive a $25 Amazon gift card, an interview on The Konnected Radio, and an appearance in an article in The Konnected Magazine. One lucky winner will receive a $100 Visa gift card!
*Note: You will watch one film per week, independently. The films are part of the This Is Our Chance Film Festival 2020. Read more about it at our-chance.com.*
